ALBANY -- Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders will continue to hammer out a new state budget today.
Among the items now being discussed are a tax rebate for households with incomes of between $40,000 - $300,000 and at least one child living at home, an extension of the tax surcharge for upper income New Yorkers, and bumping minimum wage to $9 an hour by January of 2016.
