Light to Moderate Snowfall Tonight Through Friday AM, Slow and Slick Travel Developing

Snow will overspread the region tonight, likely arriving in the Capital Region after 9 or 10pm and closer to midnight across western New England.  Slick road conditions will evolve tonight with a slow morning drive likely.  Expect an average of 2"-5" of snow through the early afternoon on Friday with pockets of 6"+ in the Mohawk valley, Lake George - Saratoga Region, Adirondacks, VT, and the northern Berkshires.  Bitterly cold air will follow the snow for Friday night and Saturday

Budget Watch: Still no deal

ALBANY -- Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders will continue to hammer out a new state budget today.
Among the items now being discussed are a tax rebate for households with incomes of between $40,000 - $300,000 and at least one child living at home, an extension of the tax surcharge for upper income New Yorkers, and bumping minimum wage to $9 an hour by January of 2016.
