Significant Snow Storm Sunday Night Through Monday

A significant snow storm will impact the region beginning late this evening and continuing through Monday.  Snow will become heavy at times after midnight and through Monday morning with snowfall rates of 1"-2" per hour.  This will lead to very poor travel conditions overnight and through much of the day on Monday.  Snow will become lighter Monday afternoon, but will likely not end until the evening.  Total snowfall accumulations for most regions look to reach 8"-14".

President Obama Lands at Albany International Airport

COLONIE -- President Barack Obama landed at Albany International Airport at 11:52AM on Tuesday morning.


The President was greeted by Governor Andrew Cuomo, Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings, and Colonie Town Supervisor Paula Mahan.  Congressman Paul Tonko also flew into the Capital Region aboard Air Force One.


The Presidential Motorcade then left for the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.
