Light to Moderate Snowfall Tonight Through Friday AM, Slow and Slick Travel Developing

Snow will overspread the region tonight, likely arriving in the Capital Region after 9 or 10pm and closer to midnight across western New England.  Slick road conditions will evolve tonight with a slow morning drive likely.  Expect an average of 2"-5" of snow through the early afternoon on Friday with pockets of 6"+ in the Mohawk valley, Lake George - Saratoga Region, Adirondacks, VT, and the northern Berkshires.  Bitterly cold air will follow the snow for Friday night and Saturday

The State Comptroller has issued a report that questions the local oversight of a project that Greg Floyd first reported last fall.  The project was a huge multi-million dollar fitness center in rural Schoharie County paid for in large part by the taxpayer that has since been shutdown.
