PREVIEW: Central Ave. Crosswalks

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:22 PM EDT
COLONIE -- It's one of the busiest roadways in the Capital Region: Central Avenue between Route 155 and Colonie Center.
If
you've driven it lately, you've probably noticed the faux brick
crosswalks in that area are falling apart. They're only a few years old
and cost a pretty penny -- nearly $300,000 of your state taxpayer
dollars.
Because YOU PAID FOR IT -- Greg Floyd reached out to the
NYS Department of Transportation for answers on why poorly performing
material was used to construct these crosswalks and what's going to be
done to make them safe for pedestrians in the future.
Hear what officials have to say TONIGHT on the CBS6 News at 11 p.mPREVIEW: Central Ave. Crosswalks
