'All-American' library being built in Cairo

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:18 PM EDT
CAIRO -- Residents in Greene County are rallying around the construction of a new library months after the devastation from Irene and Lee.

The trustees decided that the library had to be "all American."  All the materials in the building and the building itself will be all American-made.

"We wanted to help our local people, local contractors," said Dottie True, a trustee and the library treasurer.  "We wanted American industry to come back and this was our little way of doing it."
