The Bottom Line: Contractor Robert Decker pleads guilty

Updated: Tuesday, May 6 2014, 12:20 AM EDT
BALLSTON SPA -- A Bottom Line update on an area contractor who's been busted.
New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced Monday afternoon, roofing contractor Robert Decker of Fonda has pleaded guilty to defrauding local homeowners, and will spend more time in prison.
CBS 6's Dori Marlin has heard from a steady stream of his unhappy customers, and got The Bottom Line on how his trail ran on since the 1990s.  Customers said he didn't do the roofing work he promised, while taking thousands and thousands of dollars.
Decker has already served time behind bars for such wrongdoing, and New York State even barred him permanently from doing work as a home contractor in the state, but he continued to do so.
This time around, Decker will receive 3-9 years in prison when he's sentenced in Saratoga County Court next month.  He'll also have to pay up to $375,000 in restitution.
