2 Car Fatal Accident Near Crossgates Mall

The Guilderland Police Department is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred Thursday just before 4:30 PM on Crossgates Mall Road at the exit of the Northway.  A 2004 Toyota being driven by Marvin Glazier, 77, of Slingerlands rear ended a 2000 Nissan driven by Hyunshik Chun, 56, of East Greenbush.  There was minor damage to both vehicles.

Guilderland Police tell us Glazier appeared to have experienced a medical problem causing the accident.  Glazier was taken to St. Peter's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  Chun sustained no injuries in the accident however a passenger in his vehicle sustained a minor injury but was not taken to the hospital.
