New York State Humane Association offers $500 reward in duct-taped beagle case
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The New York State Humane Association says it is offering a reward of $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who bound a pet beagle in duct tape and left her to die in the Saratoga County woods.
The beagle, named Daisy, had been missing for two weeks before she was found by a hunter on his Saratoga County property. Her head, midsection and front paws were wrapped in duct tape.
The hunter took the dog to a veterinary clinic, where a microchip implanted under the dog's skin helped locate her owners.
The NYSHA has set up a reward fund for anyone who wishes to add to its $500 pot. They can be sent to:

The Humane Society of the United States is already offering a reward of up to $2,500.
