Man killed in Greene County accident
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A Long Island man died from multiple traumatic injuries when he was ejected from his vehicle during an early morning crash in Greene County.
Kurt Elfers, 34, of Miller Place, New York, died after his pick-up truck struck a guardrail on Route 23A near Horseshoe Bend in Haines Falls, according to a statement released by Greene County Sheriffs.
Elfers was ejected from the truck and fell 75 yards into an embankment.
A passing motorist reported the incident at 12:30 A.M. Elfers was pronounced dead at the scene.
