CORINTH -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Department is investigating a rollover accident on Wilton Mountain Road that killed the driver.

Danny Emery, 48, of Queensbury died when he lost control of his Dodge Durango. Deputies say he had been travelling westbound on Wilton Mountain Road when he passed at least two cars in a no-passing zone at an excessive rate of speed. He then lost control and exited the road to the north then crossed back over the road where he struck a tree on the south side of the road.

The vehicle caught fire with Emery trapped inside. Emery was pronounced dead at the scene. Corinth Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene.
