After a six-month investigation, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday it had arrested seven people on drug charges.

The following people were arrested between 1 and 9 p.m. Wednesday and are considered medium-level drug dealers. They were arrested for dealing and possessing illegal narcotics in various locations in Columbia County.

- Keith Hurst, 20, of Albany
- Ardell Williams, 32, of Apple Meadow Village in Greenport
- Brandy Mann, 27, Hudson
- Andre McCalop, 48, of  Hudson
- One 17-year-old from Catskill
- Amorette Mooney, 35, of Stottville
- Eric Izzo, 46, of Philmont

 Authorities say the investigation in continuing and more arrests are pending.
