Colonie soldier's body returns home

COLONIE -- The body of Colonie native Staff Sergeant Amy Seyboth Tirador arrived Friday morning at Albany International Airport.

It was then escorted to the Newcomer-Cannon Funeral Home in Colonie.

Tirador had been working in Iraq an interrogator and translator until her non-combat related death on Nov. 4.

The military said it is still investigating.

Tirador graduated Colonie Central High School in 1998. She served as a medic on her first tour in Iraq.

Tirador will be buried at Saratoga National Cemetery.
