Deals Driving off Chrysler Dealers' Lots

     (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) Hundreds of Chrysler dealerships across the country have less than a week to move their remaining inventory off their lots. The dealers are doing it through deep discounts. At "Terry Morris Chrysler Jeep" in Burnt Hills, Jeeps are selling for $10,000 dollars less than the sticker price. Last month, Chrysler Corporation announced it would pull the franchise from 789 dealerships as part of its bankruptcy restructuring. Charlie Morris from Terry Morris Chrysler Jeep says he's hoping the company changes its mind. "The bottom line is this: You never give up and I think that's the way the car business is and the way any business is. " he added, "We did a lot of business, sold a lot of parts and cars and serviced customers. We've had 5 Star awards for 23 years. It's gut wrenching, It really is. It hurts." Terry Morris Chrysler Jeep will be offering some sticker shock deals through the June 9th deadline.
