The former executive director of the Stillwater Area Community Services Center, Paul Lilac, has been arrested for misusing funds that were part of a New York Senate member item, according to the Inspector General's Office.
Lilac was arrested Wednesday after admitting to falsifying expenses on a $2,800 voucher, the office said.
Lilac, who had resigned from his post in April, testified that he used $2,800 of $35,000 earmarked for a kitchen upgrade at the Center for other unauthorized expenses.
He’s been charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing.
