Albany Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Friday afternoon in the city.

Police tell us a 17-year-old male was driving down 1^st Street when a suspect threw a brick through the back window and took the victim's car, a 1990 brown four-door Honda Civic.

Police tell us when the victim exited his vehicle around 3:30 p.m. he was confronted by 10 individuals under the age of 19.

The victim was chased down the street.

Police tell us a knife was implied during the chase however, no injuries were reported.
