Woman dies in car accident in Rensselaer County

A 20-year-old Massachusetts woman died in a car accident in Rensselaer County Tuesday morning, the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators say Erika Jellison of North Adams was driving east on Garfield Road in Stephentown when she lost control of her car and crossed over the double yellow-line, hitting a car driven by 63-year-old William Jennings of East Nassau.
Jellison was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jennings was taken to Albany Medical Center with injuries to his left leg.
The Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
