Michael Baden to Perform Second Szostak Autopsy
Preliminary autopsy results reveal that Josh Szostak drowned to death; however, Forensic Pathologist Michael Baden has been called in to perform a second autopsy on the body of Joshua Szostak.
Baden is internationally renown for his work.
The body was removed from the Hudson River near Coxsackie on Tuesday.
Albany Police Spokesperson James Miller says personal items located on the body indicated that foul play was not involved. Szostak's body had no evidence of a struggle. It is believed the drowning was accidental.
Szostak was last seen on December 23rd leaving the Bayou Cafe in downtown Albany; he was reported missing by his family a few days later.
The body was spotted by a man who says it was floating in the river; he immediately called 9-1-1.
