Volunteers Help Put Together Food Baskets

Sunday morning volunteers came out to Keane Elementary School in Schenectady to put together Thanksgiving food baskets for the Hungry.  The project is funded annually by Concerned for the Hungry Inc.  This year there are a record number of families in need of their assistance.  They will provide fixings for more than 3,100 of Schenectady's hungry families.  That is an increase of 500 from last year.

Concerned for the Hungry says they are in desperate need of turkey donations.  They are also in need of any non-perishable foods as well.
