Greene County bank robbery suspect flees on ATV

Durham, N.Y.

State police in Greene County say they caught a bank robber who made his getaway on an all-terrain vehicle.

Investigators allege that 21-year-old Jared Fishman of Durham went into the Legacy Bank in his home town, demanded moneny then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash on an ATV.

Police say an extensive search led to Fishman's home, where they found the alleged getaway vehicle and the money stolen from the bank.

Fishman was charged with 3rd degree robbery and 3rd degree grand larceny, both class D felonies. He was taken to the Greene County jail in lieu of $25,000 dollars cash bail or $50,000 bond.
