Woman arrested for stealing from Latham business
A Mechanicville woman was arrested by State Police after investigators said she was stealing from a Latham boat dealership where she was employed/
Diana Ayotte, 36, was arrested August 12th for third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.
State Police say Ayotte embezzled $3,100 from her employer, Dunham's Bay Sea Ray in Latham from May 2008 through August 2008.
While working as service coordinator, Ayotte reportedly stole money she received from cash-paying customers, then falsified business records to hide the theft.
Ayotte was previously arrested in September of 2007, also for stealing from her employer at the time, Pet Lodge of Clifton Park. The case is still pending, according to State Police.
Ayotte was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and released pending a future court appearance on September 9th.
