A drug bust turns into a federal investigation in Troy after police turn up a pile of fake 20's.

It all started when the North Lansingburgh community group spotted what members thought was suspicious activity in the area of Swift and Seventh Ave on Thursday and called police.

Investigators made several arrests on drug charges but when they found the phony dough they arrested Dawn Washington and Ronald White both of Rutland, Vermont.

Investigators say the pair has been printing and distributing a lot of funny money in the Capital Region in the last couple of Months.
