Five arrested for possession of homemade bombs
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Albany County Sheriff's office has arrested five Knox men for possessing and detonating homemade Improvised Explosive Devices.
They are 25-year-old Jeffery Robert, 22-year-old Michael Robert, 26-year-old Tyson Pincher, 21-year-old James Pincher, and 17-year-old Seth Pincher, all from the town of Knox.
Police say while they were investigating an unrelated case at the home of the the Roberts, they found various illegal items at the home. Among the items found were several IED's, an illegal handgun, a sawed-off firearm, and other bomb-making materials, as well as illegal chemicals.
Police say they also found videos of the five men strapping explosives to a turtle and blowing it up.
All five men are facing various counts of weapons possession, and torturing an animal.
They're now in the Albany County Correctional Facility.
