'Dangerous' Greene county man arrested
The Greene County Sheriff's Office captured a man on the run, who they believed was armed an dangerous. James S. Hartley, 26, of Ashland was arrested on July 28th in Colts Neck, New Jersey.
According to authorities, On May 17th, law enforcement responded to a domestic disturbance involving a weapon. Initial reports indiciated Hartley had accosted another individual with a rifle, following some sort of fight. The victim ran, while Hartley chased him down, threatening to kill him.
Hartley abandoned his vehicle int he town of Ashland and fled on foot. On July 28th, the Sheriff's Office received word Hartley might be staying in Colts Neck, New Jersey. He was taken into custody the very next day.
