Two Rotterdam men have been arrested for allegedly operating an illegal sports gambling operation in the area, State Police said Tuesday.

Fifty-one-year-old Gary DiCocco and 62-year-old Ronald Siegel were arrested at their homes Friday, Jan. 9th, after a three-month investigation by State Police and the Schenectady County District Attorney's office.

After executing search warrants at their homes, police seized gambling records, a vehicle and $21,781 in cash.

The men were each charged with felony first-degree gambling, felony first-degree possession of gambling records and misdemeanor fourth-degree conspiracy.

DiCocco and Siegel are expected to appear in court Jan. 15th.
