Shots Ring Out in Albany; Teenager Treated for Neck Wound
Shots fired in two different places in Albany on Wednesday. A 14-year-old boy was hit in of them and now police are trying to figure out if or how it's all connected.
Police were called to the corner of Elk and Quail Streets after an attempted drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon. No one was hit but the driver sideswiped a city bus while trying to get away.
Then around 6 p.m. police got another call for shots fired, this time at First and Quail Streets.
While they were investigating, they got a call from Albany Medical Center that a 14-year-old boy came in with a gunshot wound to his neck. His injuries are not considered serious. Detectives are talking to him now.
