Albany teen stabbed in back during fight

ALBANY -- A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the back with a small knife during a fight Tuesday afternoon, police say.
The incident, which occurred at Clinton St. and Catherine St., left the boy with a puncture wound to his back. He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he was held overnight as a precaution, said Albany public safety spokesperson James Miller.
The suspect ran off after the incident, according to Det. Miller. Police are continuing to investigate.
