UPDATE: Albany County H1N1 clinics now closed

The Albany County Health Department says the H1N1 vaccination clinics announced for Nov. 22 and Nov. 24 are now closed. All appointments have been filled.
ALBANY -- Two more H1N1 vaccine clinics have been announced for Albany County residents with slightly different target groups than the one last weekend.
The free vaccines will now be available to anyone up to age 24.
The Albany County Health Department will not be providing vaccines to children 6 months through three years old. Those vaccines will be given at future clinics as they become available.
The vaccines are available by appointment only and Albany County residents can register www.albanycounty.com/health online or by phone at 447-4505.
The clinics are:
- Sunday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Times Union Center.
- Tuesday, Nov. 24 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berne Knox Westerlo Elementary School in Berne.
Two thousand people can be vaccinated at the Times Union Center and an additional 300 can be immunized at the Berne clinic.
Vaccines are available for:
- People age 4 to 24
- People age 25 to 64 who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for flu-related complications
- Persons 4 years and older who live with or provide care for infants under 6 months old
- Pregnant women
- Health-care and emergency medical services personnel
