A Central New York man was in Albany County Court Tuesday, accused of running a $57 million Internet sports betting ring from Syracuse to Albany.

George Bedigian, 63, of Syracuse was arraigned on a 25-count indictment for illegal gambling.

The Albany County District Attorney's office says that Bedigian has been described as a gambling king pin of Central New York.

The D.A.'s office says he ran the ring in this area alongside a Latham man.
