Albany Police are looking for the person responsible for a shooting Monday night in city.  Police were called to the corner of Second and Quail Street around 10:30 pm and found a man who had been shot in the upper thigh.

Police Marquis Rowlette,19, of Marshall Street was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment and was released.

Rowlette told police that he does not know who shot him or why.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Albany Police Department.
