Albany County announces 2 new H1N1 vaccine clinics
ALBANY -- The Albany County Department of Health has scheduled two upcoming H1N1 vaccination clinics for county residents.
The clinic scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5 will offer free vaccine to the following target groups: persons aged 4-24, persons aged 25-64 who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for flu-related complications, person aged 4 and older who live with or provide care for infants under six months old, pregnant women, and health-care and emergency medical services personnel.
This clinic will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cohoes Middle School. There will be vaccine available for up to 800 individuals.
The clinic scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 9 will offer free vaccine to infants and children aged 6 months through 48 months. This clinic will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Albany County Department of Health building at 175 Green St. There will be vaccine up for up to 300 children.
