Some shelters remain open Monday morning

The Red Cross has set up several shelters across the area for residents to go to get warm and has since the storm began they ahve served 6,794 snacks and meals, distibuted 393 comfort kits and had 680 people say overnight.

The following shelters remain open as of Monday, December 15th at 6:20 a.m.

•·         Rensselaer County:

•o        Tsatsawassa Fire Company, 9 Fire House Lane, Route 20, Brainard

•o        HVCC Field House, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy

•o        Verizon Building, 1776 Sixth Avenue, Troy

•·         Saratoga County:

•o        Senior Center, 6 Clifton Common Court, Clifton Park

•o        Judicial Building, corner of Route 236 and Harris Road, Halfmoon

•o        Stillwater Community Center, 19 Palmer Street, Stillwater

•·         Schenectady County:

•o        Union College Field House, 807 Union Street, Schenectady

•·         Schoharie County:

•o        Schoharie School, 136 Academy Drive, Schoharie

•o        United Methodist Church of Esperance, 171 Main Street, Esperance
