A 22-year-old Ballston Lake man was arrested on DWI and other traffic violation charges after crashing his car in a drunk-driving accident early Sunday morning.

State Police responded to a one-car accident in the town of Ballston just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday, and found Shawn Finn had veered his car off the road and struck a tree.

Finn was transported by helicopter to Albany Medical Center with a severe leg fracture and hip injury. He was subsequently arrested for DWI and other vehicle and traffic violations, State Police said.
