Berne-Knox teen killed in car accident
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A Berne-Knox teenager was killed and two others injured in a one car accident in the town Wednesday night.
State Police say the teens were headed south on Street Road when the driver, 19 year-old Edmund Moore, lost control and hit a tree. He and his front street passenger, 18 year-old Ashlee Overbaugh, had to be cut from the vehicle. Overbaugh is listed in fair condition at Albany Medical Center and a condition for Moore was not available.
A passenger in the backseat, 16 year-old Ryan Slingerland, was killed in the crash.
Slingerland is a Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School student. A spokesperson from the district says crisis teams will be at the school on Thursday.
