Ask the Candidates: 21st Congressional Race
Comments 0 | Recommend 0There's a little more than a month until elections, and in the 21st Congressional district voters will be heading to the polls with two new candidates on the ballot. After serving for 20 years, Congressman Mike McNulty will retire at the end of his term.
James Buhrmaster is the Republican candidate on the ballot. He comes from Schenectady where he is currently a Schenectady County Legislator and is president of Buhrmaster Oil, a family-owned business. Paul Tonko represents the Democratic ticket in the race for the 21st congressional seat. Tonko is the former CEO of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and served as an assemblyman for 24 years.
