Early on Saturday November 29th, a Pittsfield man dies after an ATV accident in Rensselaer County.

The Rensselaer County Sheriff's office says James White, 45 was riding his ATV around 7:11a.m while hunting in a group of five men. His Kawasaki four wheeler flipped and landed on top of him; the Stephentown Ambulance, Fire Department, and Rensselaer County EMS responded to the scene.

White was brought to Albany Medical Center, where an autopsy revealed that he did of compressive asphyxia.

Police say the death has been ruled accidental.
