FROST - FREEZE ADVISORIES UP FOR PARTS OF THE REGION TONIGHT

Some higher elevated areas have already seen frost in the past week, but tonight will likely be the coolest so far this season, and frost is expected to be more widespread, including some lower elevations. Frost is not expected in the Capital Region, or southern Hudson Valley, but will be likely in cooler locations. Delicate plants should be protected or brought inside where possible.

June 24, 1969 - Latham Entertainment Venue

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 09:17 PM EDT
The Latham Entertainment Venue played host to some major major acts through the years.
It came to be known as the Colonie Coliseum,  and later The Starlight.
But on this day in 1969, most of us just called it the tent, and Carman Holliman was on hand for the opening night.
The starlight shut down in 1998. It was torn down last year to make room for new development.June 24, 1969 - Latham Entertainment Venue
