Significant Snow Storm Starting Later Tonight Through Monday

A significant snow storm will impact the region beginning late this evening and continuing through Monday.  Snow will become heavy at times after midnight and through Monday morning with snowfall rates of 1"-2" per hour.  This will lead to very poor travel conditions overnight and through much of the day on Monday.  Snow will become lighter Monday afternoon, but will likely not end until the evening.  Total snowfall accumulations for most regions look to reach 8"-14".

 On this day in 1972, the classic of classic cars making a comeback.

This electric car from 1915 was used by the brilliant g-e chief engineer, Dr. Charles Steinmetz.

Its power came from Edison storage batteries.
