Light to Locally Moderate Snow Storm From Sunday Afternoon- Early Monday Morning

A weak area of low pressure will cross the region from late Sunday through early Monday morning bringing a period of accumulating snow which will begin as some light and spotty snow on Sunday afternoon. A steadier snow will develop through the evening and into Sunday night. Expect slow and slick travel conditions Sunday night with variable snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3 in the Capital Region to as much as 5"-7" in terrain favored areas in the Adirondacks, Lake George-Saratoga Region, Vermont and Berkshire County.

Taking a look back into CBS6's archives, 41 years ago today, a big controversy between spac and "The Grateful Dead."

SPAC had booked the band for two concerts in September of 1972.

But after reports estimated 50,000 "Dead Heads" would attend the concerts -- well known for drug use at the time -- Saratoga County officials asked for the concerts to be called off.

The GM refused to cancel the concerts -- and the shows went on.August 29, 1972 - Grateful Dead concerns
