DWI fugitive from NY busted in CA
Pot charge leads to capture

According to the New York State Police at Ellenville, 28-year-old Dylan Walsh fo Rosendale, Ulster County, is being held in a jail outside Oakland, California after his arrest for being a fugitive from justice.
Last August, Walsh was indicted by the Grand Jury of Ulster County, accused of driving drunk. Police say on August 15th, troopers went to a two-car head-on collision on RT-209 in Wawarsing. Troopers said Walsh struck another vehicle and injured the other driver. Police Walsh was arraigned and released on his own recognizance, then faileld to reappear in court.
State police located Walsh after he was arrested on a marijuana possession charge in California. Walsh was detained at the Alameda County, Santa Rita Jail.
On January 28, police from NYSP Ellenville went to California to bring Walsh back to New York.
