How much will Chelsea's wedding cost?

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- A longtime Clinton family friend is denying that the cost of Chelsea Clinton's wedding tomorrow in Rhinebeck will be more than $1 million.

The friend spoke on condition of anonymity, because of the family's desire for privacy, but said the cost of the wedding won't exceed six figures. Wedding experts told The Associated Press the wedding could cost $2 million to $3 million, while some media reports put the cost as high as $5 million.

Security guards were posted outside a private estate, just south of Rhinebeck, that is reportedly the site of the tonight's rehearsal dinner. Around 7 p.m., a stream of vehicles, including a shuttle full of young women, pulled past the security checkpoint into the estate.
