Melodies of Christmas starts tonight, tickets still available

SCHENECTADY -- Tonight is the first performance of the annual Melodies of Christmas at Proctor's Theatre and you can still get your hands on those coveted Melodies tickets.

Liz Bishop and Greg Floyd will be hosting on the 30th anniversary of the show, being sponsored in part by Price Chopper and Freihofer's.

The show features the Empire State Youth Orchestra and Youth Chorale, with special guests three-time Grammy nominee Stefon Harris and Blackout; The McKrells featuring Sara Milonovich; and Amy Platt and Randy Crafton.

Tickets are on sale at the Proctors box office. The ticket price is $25. 

The annual performances at Proctors Theater benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

Performances will be held tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. with a matinee performance at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
