A fight involving over 100 people erupted at Schenectady High School tonight after the school hosted a game versus Albany High School.
At about 9:20, Schenectady Police requested backup from Rotterdam, Niskayuna, Glenville and State Police at Princetown for a large group of people fighting at the high school and moving down Ardsley Road. One officer on the scene called the scuffle a "riot."
At least one person was detained.
