Wednesday, May 7
	Tulip Tour through Washington Park 11:00AM
	Washington Park
	Guided walking tour through Washington Park starting at the Moses Statue. Learn about the planting of more than 200,000 tulips in preparation for Albany's Tulip Festival. Reservations requested. $5 (518) 434-0405 or www.albany.org

Friday, May 9
	Pinksterfest 11:00am-6:00pm
	Washington Park
	Over 100 artisans selling their fine, handmade crafts, a fine arts show and of course, thousands of tulips!

	Carillon Concert 11:30am - noon
	Academy Park
	The majestic sound of the bells, played by professional carilloneur Dr. Charles Semowich will get Tulip Festival off to a delightful start.

	Street Scrubbing 12:00 noon
	State and Lodge Streets
	Featuring a Mayoral Proclamation, the Albany Police Pipes and Drums and the 2008 Tulip Queen Finalists.

	Tulip Festival Luncheon 12:30PM
	Crowne Plaza Hotel - Grand Ballroom
	A farewell to the 2007 Tulip Queen, Amisha Gomes, and her court, featuring a fashion show. Benefit for Vanguar-Albany Symphony Orchestra, Inc. Reservations required - call (518) 465-4755.

	Acoustic Music in the Park 11:00 am-7:30pm
	Washington Park
	An intimate musical experience with acoustic entertainment all day. The tulip beds around the Moses statue will host this Tulip Festival talent showcase. Craft vendors will be open until 6pm and food will be available for purchase.

	Night Fire 8:00pm-10:00pm
	Washington Park Lake
	Night Fire is a unique art installation merging the talents of local artists, college students, composers and community partners to create a one-of-a-kind, environmentally conscious fire-art event.

Saturday, May 10
	Pre Coronation 10:45am - noon
	Amphitheatre Stage
	10:45 am - 11: 30 am - Albany Symphony Quartet 11:30 am - 11:45 am - Fashion Show by Albany High School Fashion Club 11:45 am - 12:00 noon - The Mendelssohn Club

	Tulip Queen Procession 11:45am
	Formal tulip beds near Moses
	The 2007 Tulip Queen Amisha Gomes, Mayor Jerry Jennings, and the Albany Police Pipes and Drums lead the five Tulip Queen finalists to the Amphitheatre stage.

	Tulip Queen Coronation 12:00 noon
	Amphitheatre Stage
	Mayor Jennings crowns the 60th Albany Tulip Queen. Special Guest MC's Mark Baker and Diane Lee of FOX23 News DayBreak.

	Royal Tulip Ball 6:30pm
	Wolferts Roost Country Club
	Sponsor: M3 Scotchlite, NIKON, and National Law Enforcement Supply.
	An evening of dining and dancing to honor the new Tulip Queen and Court.
