Schenectady Police investigating Crane Street robbery

Schenectady Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at A & R Deli on Crane Street Tuesday night.

Holding a shotgun, the suspect told two store employees to go to the back of the shop counter and got away with an unknown amount of cash, according to a statement released by police Tuesday night.

The suspect fled Westbound on Crane Street on foot. Police say he is a black male aged in his mid-to-late twenties. He is about five feet, eight inches tall and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
