TAKE A BREAK: Pool Prodigy Adds Movie to his Credits
3 year old Keith O'Dell is 'racking' it up
Move over Tom Cruise and Paul Newman.
There's a new hustler making his way to the silver screen.
Yes, our little pool prodigy, Keith O'Dell Jr, who's pool playing prowess has landed him on national and even international television programs, has made it to the movies.
The movie is called "9 ball" and was filmed in Maryland. The movie, about a female pool shark, is in post production now. Keithey, as dad Keith Sr. still calls him, had just a small part.
But it's still a pretty big deal.
"He goes in and he plays in front of Jennifer Bretta, the main star of the movie and a few other characters, says Keith, "takes 3 or 4 shots and wows everyone. Like he does in real life."
His game is still getting better. He's even mastering some table tricks.
Dad says Keith is the youngest player to ever manage a 'jump' shot.
The key word there being 'youngest'.
"He's still definitely 3. 3 and driving me crazy," says Dad.
Sure, there's still a little trouble keeping focus.
But when he's on his game, he can inspire even a novice to at least temporary greatness.
