Missing West Virginia girl may be in NY's Capital Region, watch group says
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says a girl missing in West Virginia could be in the Capital Region and is asking for the public's help in locating her.
According to NCMEC, 13-year-old Megan Rogers went missing in Shepherdstown, WV, and could be in the Albany and Delmar areas in New York state.
Police say the girl may be in the company of an adult male, possibly traveling in a gray 2001 Nissan Sentra with New York license plate EDP2644.
Megan Rogers was last seen with her hair highlighted red, and may be wearing her hair in a bun. Her ears pierced.
The public is urged to call 1-800-THE-LOST if they have any information concerning Megan Rogers's disappearance. Calls are kept confidential.
