Spitzer memorabilia isn't bringing in the big bucks
He may be the subject of tabloid headlines and the butt late-night TV jokes, but former Governor Eliot Spitzer doesn't have anyone laughing all the way to the bank when it comes to his memorabilia.
Collectors can find some serious bargains on Spitzer items on eBay, nearly two weeks after he resigned when he was labeled "Client 9" in a federal investigation into The Emperor's Club prostitution ring.
T-shirts, pins, newspapers and other items chronicling his fall from grace are going cheap on eBay. A photo greeting card from the Spitzer family got a bid of just $10.
Some collectors say older authentic Spitzer items could eventually be worth collecting, especially pins or other materials from his campaign for attorney general and governor.
