Captain Sully's hat being auctioned
It wasn't one he wore when he landed his disabled US Airways jet on New York's Hudson River earlier this year. But it used to grace the head of pilot Sully Sullenberger -- and that's good enough for those bidding on it on eBay.
The hat and a personally written note from the captain and his wife are being auctioned with the money raised going to help two California schools.
The bidding started yesterday and by last night, bids were as high as $2,500.
The bidding ends on Monday.
