Saratoga Co. party leads to arrests, child custody change
An alleged underage drinking party in the Village of Corinth ended with three people under arrest, and a four month-old child turned over to child protective services.
A woman contacted the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office to report her underage child had engaged in sexual activity with a 19 year-old woman at the party, Investigator David Towne told CBS 6.
During the ensuing investigation, the sheriff's office charged the 19 year-old -- Faith Gillie of Ballston Spa -- with one count of first-degree criminal sex act and two counts of second-degree criminal sex act. Gillie, who lives at Lot 46 Creek and Pines Trailer Park, is accused of engaging in consensual sex acts, but not intercourse, with two 12 year-olds and a 14 year-old.
The married couple who hosted the party were also arrested, and their four month-old child removed by Saratoga County Protective Services.
James Wilson, 29, and Susan Wilson, 19, of 217 Palmer Avenue in Corinth, are each charged with counts of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child, Towne said. They are accused of providing alcohol to the minors at the party.
Gillie could face several years in prison if convicted, Towne said. The Wilsons could face up to one year in prison apiece. Telephone numbers could not be located for any of the three.
