Man arrested for altering, cashing personal checks

SCHUYLERVILLE -- A 26-year-old Schuylerville man has been arrested on petit larceny, forgery and grand larceny charges for altering and cashing personal checks.
Gregg Nelson was arrested in connection with the Nov. 26 incident. The Warren County Sheriff's Office says Nelson altered personal checks that had been issued to him before cashing them.
Nelson was arraigned and released to reappear at a later date in Queensbury Town Court.
